Meet The Team
Founder & Driver & Drummer
Sally Gillespie
I am a born and raised Texan and self taught drummer. After graduating from UT, I moved to San Francisco to follow my dream to be a professional musician. I put together an all girl punk band and 3 years later, we signed with Fat Wreck Chords, put out 3 albums and toured the world. My love of driving stems from my first job as a test car driver for BMW and then into my touring days and long drives across the country. I started Sally Rides in 2021 as business travel slowly came back after Covid and the limo company I had been driving for closed. I love driving people and we are now a team of 5 women drivers and serving Austin and the Hill Country Area. I still also play drums in my Austin band, Dogs & Diamonds.
